History
The origins of a yellow tube
with a singular scent
PERSKINDOLTM was created more than 30 years ago by a Swiss tennis player and businessman.
Over a period of five years, he monitored in his laboratory the continuous improvement of the formulation of a medication, PER-SKIN-DOL “for application – on the skin – for pain”.
As a regular tournament participant, he had made it his goal to develop a topical pain reliever that would allow him to be able to resume the tennis game immediately after use. And to be able to repeat this as often as he wanted, pain-free and doping-free.
For this, the gel with the acronym “PERSKINDOL” had to:
- Effectively treat pain locally
- Be quickly absorbed by the skin and not leave a film or greasy residue
In 1981, the Classic Fluid was launched with a formula based on essential oils from which comes the unmistakable and relaxing smell of PerskindolTM. Essential oils are the basis of all PERSKINDOLTM products and, depending on the range, have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, thermo-therapeutic (cooling and / or heating) properties that promote healing.

*One FTU is the amount of a topical cream/gel that is squeezed from the very tip of the adult finger to the first crease. One hand area is the size of the flat part of an adult’s hand with the fingers together.
